Events & ActivitiesComing soon

The plans you keep meaning to actually make.

Everyone has a list of things they'd love to do and never book. Events gives those half-ideas somewhere to live, a status that moves them along, and a calendar the whole household already shares.

Events is in the works and not switched on yet. Sign up today and you'll get cooking, travel, books and movies, and wine — we'll turn this on for you when it's ready.

How it works

Designed for the gap between wanting to do something and having actually booked it.

1

Capture the idea

The concert someone mentioned, the restaurant you keep walking past, the birthday that needs a plan. Get it down with a category and a rough date before it evaporates.

2

Move it along

Each event carries a status — idea, planned, confirmed, done, or cancelled — so a glance tells you what still needs booking and what's already handled.

3

Put it on the calendar

Confirmed events land on the same shared calendar as your trips and meal plans, so date night doesn't get double-booked against a work trip.

4

Settle up after

Attach what it cost, split it with whoever came, and let it feed back into what gets suggested next time.

What Events will do

Built on the same shared calendar, expense splitting, and taste graph the rest of Nexly already runs on.

Idea to booked

A five-stage status per event, so the list is a plan rather than a wish list.

On the shared calendar

Alongside trips and meal plans — one view of what the household has committed to.

Costs attached

Log what it cost and split it with the people who came, using the same balances as everything else.

Solo, two, or many

Keep an event to yourself, share it with a partner, or open it to the whole group.

Worth repeating?

Say yes, maybe, or no afterwards, and let that shape what gets suggested next.

Your own categories

Tag events the way you think about them — date night, kids, work thing — and filter on it.

Discuss in place

Talk it through on the event itself rather than in a thread that scrolls away.

Assistant support

Create an event, find one, or move its status from the same assistant that plans your trips and meals.

The assistant will handle the booking admin

When Events switches on, you'll be able to ask for the plans that need attention, create one from a passing mention, and move it to confirmed once it's booked — with the event landing on the shared calendar and its cost splitting automatically. Because your taste already spans cooking, travel, and everything else you've rated, the suggestions won't start from a blank slate.
